A fabric question

Is sail cloth an even weave fabric?

For the record I hate stitching on it.

Edit: I also thought it worth mention that it is a pre-printed kit.

Ack! That sucks. I have decided that I don't like the printed kind. I'm not sure about the color ones, I don't think I've seen/done one but I can't imagine I would like it any better. Counted is definitely the way for me. I was at Michael's today and found way too many to buy... Today. ;)

The colored ones are way worse because not only are they telling you were the X goes as in the printed but they have printed the pic onto the fabric which looks exactly like the project...it makes you feel like whats the point...since the whole fun of it is killed. I mean who wants to work on something that to all purposes looks already done? The best part about counted cross-stitch is the slow reavealing of the pattern. It's like magic.
