It's been.... ooo, 3 years since I last posted? And I've done some stitching since then!

~~~ First: BAPs! ~~~
Now, I haven't worked on these in over a year, since the chair I sit in to stitch them is very low and my knees were hurting. I wasn't going to sit in it unless I was certain I could get out again, hence hiatus. But, progress has been made since I last posted about them. So!
(Oh, my camera's acting up, so not all these are in-focus properly. Bah. Also, I've brightened most of these so they're truer color-wise.)
================
L-Etendard
Good news: On the second page-row! I have the large-format chart, which is 7x7pages, so I'm over 1/7 finished!
Bad news: Still can't tell the stone from the sky, so I'm working on altering the colors of the stone. I've got frogging in my future. Fortunately, so far there's only one cliff and it's basically on the first page column, so I don't have as much frogging as there could be.
25ct cream(?), 2over1.
St Nick
I think I'm going to pick this up again this month. ^_^
Good news: About halfway through the second page-row! So, about 30% done! Liking the border I added.
Bad news: Santa's being as futsy as the dragon to stitch. And it looks like not too much more of the sky is going to be single-color solid, so working on that'll slow me down some.
28ct tan(?), 1over1.
St Nick title
Designed it myself! Though I did start with some alphabets I found already charted, I altered and added to them, and of course I made the arrangement. I think that still counts as designing it myself.... Anyway! Blanked out most of my name for privacy. Now I just have to finish the main chart so I can fill in the rest of the info....
32(?)ct black linen, 2over2.
~~~ Smaller HAEDs ~~~

I hadn't started most of these when last I posted. I'm not sure I'd acquired most of these when last I posted. So, no progress pics for these.

================

D by Fenech

I posted on this before; it's finished now. Colors altered to de-yellow it, more than doubling their number (15 became 39). Haven't figured out how to frame it yet; probably a fabric-covered padded mat, but don't know what fabric and I haven't got the mat yet, so....

28ct white linen, 1over1!

================

G by Fenech

A Christmas gift for a friend who loves gryphons. As-charted this time. ^_^ Turned into a pillow cover. The black is the body of the cover, and goes for quite a bit further.

22ct white hardanger, 2over1.

================

Mini Tea Bath

About 6months to stitch (started Christmas-ish, finished July-ish). Altered a bit, 'cuz her eyes needed whites and her fingers needed differentiation. Got a blue ribbon at the 2016 MN State Fair!

28ct white linen, 1over1.

================

Mini Winter Twilight

About 6months to stitch (started July-ish, finished Christmas Eve Day). Altered a fair amount, since it was lacking in sparkle and the tail-lamp really needed backstitch. Going to be entered in the 2017 MN State Fair, or I probably wouldn't have framed it. This was a fairly expensive framing, and since I got it framed the next state over the shop where I got it framed happily displayed it for most of a year. I brightened the mat in this picture so it was visible (it looked black in the original pic, you couldn't tell it from the sky at the top). ^_^

25ct white lugana(?), 2over1.

================

Mini So Many Books, So Little Time

No stitching yet; fabric's gridded. Large-format chart. I've filled it in in GIMP to find where I wanted to alter it, before I started stitching this time. So, I'm about ready to start this one.

25ct white lugana(?), 2over1.

================

Storykeep Home is Where the Magic Is

I like the full-sized HIWTMI, but what I like best is the turret in the middle, and I could do without the fairies. Fortunately, they made a Storykeep. ^_^ I like it, but there's a heart-shaped window that's not really heart-shaped so I have to figure out how to alter it. I started this one in the middle and am stitching upward first, so....

~~~ Bewitching Cross Stitch ~~~
No Magic...
Originally said 'coffee', I changed it to 'tea'. Then set it in a magnetic platic cover/frame so the friend it was a Christmas gift for could have it safely in her kitchen.
22ct white hardanger, 2over1.
================
Celtic Wheel
One of my other friends liked this part of the Celtic Wheel, but didn't want the rest of it, so this is what I stitched for her. She really like it! (Pic is fuzzy, alas.)
White. Maybe hardanger? 20ish count, over 1.
================
Old Video Games
This was so cute! Unfortunately I had to rechart it because the original chart was pictures that I couldn't get at any good resolution. Others apparently didn't have any problems, so I don't know what happened there. If the maker of that chart is reading this: try CutePDF Writer - it's tiny and free, and just acts like another printer on your system, and would ensure equal visual quality on anything you offer to the public.
32(?)ct black linen, 2over2.
================
Father Sun / Sun Scarab / Mother Moon / Luna Moth
I plan to make a wall hanging with all of these together. ^_^ Started these early this 2016? Still stitching Mother Moon, the others are finished but for the beads - it's all on one piece of fabric so that's going to be a simultaneous last on all of them once I cut them apart.
22ct white hardanger, 2over1.
(I'm not going to unhoop this to photograph it, so pictures'll come later.)
================
Crescent Moon Dragon
Prepping stages. Re-charted without net-looking overlay on the wings. Probably going to leave off the border, but it's copied on the pattern too. Currently gridding the fabric (Picture This Plus: Phantom); it's taking a while. Monofilament's very hard to see here, and I'm doing this on 40ct which isn't helping. I think I'll switch to regular thread, that'll be easier to deal with (until I try to pull it out, anyway).
================
Wizard's View
Prepping stages. Re-charted with the dragon variation (and added his middle fingertip). I think I've selected my fabric, but I have to check by taking some photos.
================
~~~ Others ~~~

12 Days of Christmas

Alas, this chart seems to be discontinued. I added the title to the top, and changed almost all of the beads to Kreiniks. There is a lot of Kreinik, so it's much sparklier than it looks here. Red ribbon (2nd place) at the 2014 MN State Fair!

================

Tales of Wonder

Free chart I found online somewhere. I used different flosses, since the chart calls for expensive overdyed stuff, I found smaller skeins with similar colors of another brand. Still planning on making it a bell pull.

================

Baby Bear Sleeping on a Moon

A Cyberstitchers.com chart. My sister gave me a nephew in early 2012, and I made this for his nursery.

================

Sun Star Moon Bookmark

Also a Cyberstitchers.com chart. I made this my nephew for christmas (the one before he was born). I stitched them farther apart, then cut out triangles and made them into a block for him. Cotton outer, polyfil innards, perfectly washeable. Less than 3in across, I think?

================

Christmas Eve Couriers: Santa's Sleigh

As-charted! 32ct2over2 so the beads would fit. My dad thought I was being sarcastic when I said it had "only" 28 colors (including mixes, Kreiniks, and beads). But when you're used to HAEDs, which average 90 colors, 28 is an "only". ::grin::

================

Blue/Gargen Geisha

Originally a kit. Started, got a good chunk of blue skirt (yes, I know it's not really a skirt, but right there it's behaving as a skirt, and I'm not sure if that's properly kimono or something else) done, didn't like the colors. Switched out the fabric and flosses for 40ct linen and DMC. Recharted the yukata (I think; maybe it's a haori? My traditional japanese clothing vocabulary is out of practice) because I didn't like the flowers. So, mini-medallions! Had to frog the flowers. On hiatus. There was something here I was annoyed by, but I can't remember what it was. Oh, right. Blues still wrong. Must frog. And after I've already done some backstitch. Drat.

================

Cheaper Than Therapy

40ct PTP Phantom 2over2, so the scissor charm's really too big for its box. Altered the border a little bit; don't remember why, beyond aesthetics. Stitched with silk! Still unframed. Planning on doing the "quilting" variaion for my mother (probably not with the silk). ^_^

================

If anyone wants the changes I made to any of these (except the Crescent Moon Dragon and Wizard's View, since those are on full charts and I have no way of policing who's already got the book), message me and I'll get them to you. Also, for the HAEDs, I have made cheat shets for the symbol keys if anyone wants them. And the title panel for St Nick.

Beautiful stuff! I especially love the 12 Days of Christmas chart, and the 'Once Upon a Time' rhyme.

I have a HAED chart somewhere around here... I keep on meaning to stitch it up. One of these days...

Thanks!

Is your HAED one of the smaller ones, or their more typical 1/4million stitches size? (And may I suggest: grid. It's saved me so much headache.)
