Mini quilt project

dragon cross stitch
Several years ago, I did a t-shirt quilt with a LOT of help and instruction and coaching from a good friend of mine who's been quilting a lot longer than I have. :) This year I picked up a mini quilt kit at a local store (by a local artist, too, which is cool) and I finally finished the hand stitching for the binding today. I'm planning to get a dowel and ribbon and find a blank space (HA ha ha ha) on our wall for the mini quilt. It's about 12"x12" square. (Yep. I went from a queen-sized quilt with huge blocks to a mini quilt with very tiny pieces of fabric. Can we say ambitious??? LOL!)

Incidentally the mini quilt was ALSO completed with LOTS of help and instruction from the same wonderful friend. :)

:) Thank you!! I am pleased with how well it turned out considering it's only my second quilt project. And some of the pieces of fabric are TINY. LOL!
