New Project

I think it would be a sad day indeed if I didn't have a cross stitch project to work on! The day I finished Max I pulled out a project I started back in 2014 but have shelved a couple of times to make way for new projects. I actually started this project one time before 2014 but had to discard it cause it ultimately wasn't going to fit on the fabric that I had, my bad!

Restarting the project gave me the opportunity to adjust the pattern and I think I'll be happier in the end! I certainly don't feel overwhelmed by how huge it was originally going to be :P

I can't remember if I ever posted progress shots of this pattern but I think it's probably likely I did.

The picture used to create the pattern, was taken by me when I was visiting Peggy's Cove with my friend. I think it's a rather classic angle of the small community as my aunt actually had a decorative plate with an image almost exactly the same but during winter ^_^

It took me awhile to feel like I was making any progress because I originally stitched almost the entire first half (what you see as basically finished here) before I came to realize it wasn't going to fit properly.

Ultimately I'm stitching this piece for my older brother! I had originally thought I might try stitching it to sell, but I just don't have the drive to work on it when it isn't for someone I know.

Thanks for looking!

It looks lovely, for me pictures with water always work very well. :)
