Wow...backstitching (and a finished project)...

As has been said (and will be said again) many times...backstitching really does make a big difference...I have been working on this little guy for several years as a conference call project to keep myself awake when I knew I had to listen but not contribute. :)

Very nice! And it really does, it always ends up being well worth the effort, haha.

Oh he's adorable! And the back stitching really does add a nice detail to it!

:) Thanks! That detail does make a difference. But even on a small project like this backstitching is a pain. And doing what felt like a million French knots didn't help...that's also why I'll never do a Thomas Kincaide pattern. SO many French knots...nope nope and nope. They're gorgeous patterns but a whole lot of nope for me; I admire anyone who will do them!

:) Thanks!! It was a kit, actually. I've done several of them. Unfortunately I think the line of kits has been discontinued. They were fun.

I'm usually a sucker for anything "cat" but this time I think I like the finish even more than the subject matter. Hahahah!

:) Thanks!! The finished project is fun! I've done several of these and I like the 3-D nature of them.
