Is there a market?

Hi all! I am wondering if, in your experience, there is currently a market for Celtic knot cross-stitch and embroidery patterns? I've got a few designs that I've created and was considering selling PDF's (once I get them turned into pretty computerized patterns) through Etsy or something, but I thought it would be a good idea to find out first if there's even a market for such things. There are a couple of bookmarks and some borders, plus an alphabet (so a lot of things that are basically components of a design), and then of course my favourite thing is to just take a shape and fill it in with knotwork, so I have some squares and would probably do more squares and other shapes.

Thanks!

I've purchased a fair number of PDF patterns through Etsy. I'd say go for it!

I've purchased patterns through Etsy as well. Figure if it doesn't cost you anything to post something there (excepting the transaction fee if you do sell something), then why not?

And yes - I've stitched Celtic knot patterns before. They're fun to do because once you're in the rhythm, they don't take much thought - or at least, the one I did was like that. Excellent for travel and stitching while distracted.

I would be interested. If you end up doing that, please post a link to your etsy store and I'd buy some!

Absolutely, I would be interested! Provided... I find a job sometime soon, l-lol...

But yeah, I think there would be interest if you put them up on Etsy or something like that.
