It's been a while since I've posted progress pics.

I've trying to work exclusively on the ram pillow for my niece's graduation, which was last month. It's just so hard to work on something with that much beige. I think if it hadn't been a gift, I would have let it be a UFO. But I've finally finished the stupid thing.

I just need to add the lettering, remove the waste canvas (I hope that's as easy as advertised!), and sew the pillow. I hope to have that done this weekend.

Speaking of waste canvas, I was not impressed. The weave is really loose, and the thread shift really easily. As a result, I feel like my stitches were really inconsistent in size and rather messy. I don't think I'll be using waste canvas again. I'll stick with using aida cloth on the back side of the fabric.

To alleviate the tedium of the beige, but not feel guilty for starting something new, I worked a little on my poor neglected wolf pups. I've finished the moon now!

I really need to spend more time on this, before the baby it's for reaches his first birthday!

I'm all kitted up for my next project, tiger cubs for the new baby of the owners of the karate school we go to. I do still need to buy more of a couple colors, though.

And last, but not least, my husband's dragon.

I managed to snap this picture when he took the hoop off to shift over. I think this is the first time I've gotten a pic of the full design. He's almost half-way done with the stitching now.

That's about it. Have a nice weekend everyone! ^_^

Yep, I had been eyeing it at the store for years, just had never gotten up the nerve. I was surprised when my husband said he wanted to do it. It's going to look so lovely when it's done!
